Advanced manufacturing starts

Why does piping matter?

A semiconductor fab depends on ultra-high-purity gases, specialty chemicals, and UPW delivered at tightly controlled pressure, flow, and cleanliness. A microscopic contaminant inside a line can compromise an entire wafer.

Piping is the circulatory system of a fab. It carries critical materials to each production tool; when a line fails, tools stop, yield suffers, and the production schedule is at risk.

Q.Why did you choose semiconductor piping?

I did not originally plan to work in piping. I was drawn to the fact that skilled trades like piping and welding will continue to matter even as AI transforms office work. Semiconductor piping also requires millimeter-level precision, making it difficult to automate fully. I am not a piping technician, but working in corporate operations alongside these specialists gave me a stable career path in the AI era.
